Tivoli

Working with Tivoli presented a unique challenge to the Creative Systems team. Tivoli wanted to modernise their Adelaide office space while keeping the unique architecture of the building fully intact, no small task on a heritage site.

The original building features a beautiful concave ceiling with a half-moon balcony overlooking the main floor, adorned with a maroon carpet and timber flooring. The team's goal wasn't just to preserve these unique characteristics, but to genuinely highlight them throughout the new fitout.

Maroon and timber toned accents run throughout the site, from smaller details on chair and table legs to larger accents on panels and door frames, echoing the colours already present in the carpet, elevator and building exterior. To highlight the architecture further, chairs and tables were customised with rounded edges that echo the concave shape of the roof, subtle details easy to miss individually, but unmistakably part of the site's design DNA. Equipped with ergonomic chairs, height adjustable desks and tables, and acoustic panelling from Thinking Works, Buro and Autex Acoustics, functionality never took a back seat to design.
