Designed with government and corporate standards in mind, the space balances robust functionality with a clean, refined aesthetic. From high performance workstations to secure storage solutions, every element was selected to support operational clarity and long term resilience in a mission-critical South Australian environment.

Freedom Desks with V-leg frames established clean, functional work zones across the office, complemented by Buro Metro Task Chairs offering genuine ergonomic support through extended use. CME double monitor arms were integrated at each station to enhance productivity and screen flexibility without compromising desk space. Trimline mobile pedestals kept work surfaces clear and uncluttered, while full-height lockers gave staff secure, reliable personal storage as part of their daily routine. Black Spencer Visitor Chairs brought a cohesive visual language to meeting areas and shared zones, combining comfort with a polished aesthetic, and large and small tambour cabinets were placed strategically throughout to support shared storage needs and maintain a consistent rhythm across the whole space.

Defence and government fitouts increasingly weigh environmental impact alongside function and cost, and the PMB Defence project reflected that throughout. Furniture selections favoured Australian manufactured products where possible, reducing transport impact and supporting South Australian supply chains rather than importing generic overseas stock. Choosing commercial grade desks, chairs and storage built to withstand years of daily use in a mission-critical environment is itself a sustainability decision, reducing the churn of furniture being replaced and landfilled every few years. Creative Systems works directly with South Australian suppliers who can speak to the specific environmental credentials of individual products, supporting responsible, local procurement.
