Bureau One | Single Person Office Pod and Phone Booth

The Bureau One is a compact single person office pod and acoustic phone booth, measuring just 1000mm x 980mm. It gives someone a private acoustic space for calls, video meetings and focused work, without taking over the floor.

Most open plan offices in Adelaide know they need somewhere quiet. The hard part is finding the space for it. At 1000mm x 980mm, the Bureau One can sit against a wall, at the end of a run of desks, in a reception area, in a library corner or in a breakout space that couldn’t take a bigger pod. Castors with adjustable feet mean it can be moved when the layout changes.

It isn’t just a quiet box. Inside there are three Australian power outlets, USB-A, USB-C and an ethernet port, plus 4000K LED lighting and a quiet ventilation fan, so it’s comfortable for longer calls and video meetings. Upholstered seating and a wall mounted desk are included, so it’s ready to use once it’s installed. That suits SA government workplaces, corporate offices, schools and universities that want a properly equipped space, not just four walls.

It comes in Cloud White or Domino Black. Creative Systems delivers, assembles and installs the Bureau One across Adelaide and South Australia with its own team, and works with interior designers and project managers from specification through to handover.

Common Questions:

How much space does the Bureau One office pod need?
It needs a floor area of about 1000mm x 980mm, roughly one square metre. That’s small enough to fit beside a run of desks, in a reception area or in a library corner. If space is tight, send us your floor measurements and we’ll check it fits.

What is an office phone booth used for?
An office phone booth is a small acoustic space for taking calls, joining video meetings or doing focused work away from the noise of an open plan floor. The Bureau One includes power, USB and ethernet connections, lighting and ventilation, so it’s comfortable for more than a quick call.

Are office pods suitable for open plan workplaces?
Yes, open plan offices are where they’re used most. A pod like the Bureau One gives people somewhere private to take a call or concentrate, without booking a meeting room or leaving the work area.

What’s the difference between the Bureau One and the Bureau One+?
The Bureau One+ is the larger of the two. It measures 1500mm x 1290mm, with more room for longer sessions and a two seat option, while the Bureau One suits tight spaces where the main use is calls and short focused work.

Does Creative Systems install the Bureau One in Adelaide?
Yes, Creative Systems delivers, assembles and installs the Bureau One across Adelaide and South Australia with its own installation team. That means one local contact from specification to handover, instead of a booth shipped in and a separate installer organised afterwards.
