Studiwell Deluxe Double Table
The standard Studiwell Double Table covers a wide age range through height adjustment alone, but some classrooms need that flexibility paired with mobility, and that's where the Deluxe version comes in. Available with adjustable glides or castors, it adds reconfiguration options the base model doesn't offer, letting teachers move paired desks around a room rather than leaving them fixed once positioned.
Height adjustment runs from 565mm to 765mm, a range shifted higher than the standard Double Table, better suited to older student cohorts while still offering genuine adjustment across that band rather than a single fixed height. It comfortably seats two students, keeping the same balance of shared desk space and personal room to work that the standard model offers.
Built to last, the desk is designed to handle everyday classroom use, height adjustments and, where castors are chosen, regular repositioning without the frame or mechanism loosening over time. It suits South Australian classrooms and learning spaces where furniture gets moved as often as it gets sat at.
At 1200mm wide and 600mm deep, tabletops are available in E0 laminate or a wide range of Laminex and Polytec finishes, with a black powdercoat base as standard and custom finishes available.

Common Questions:
How is this different to the standard Studiwell Double Table?
The Deluxe adds adjustable glides or castors for mobility, which the standard Double doesn't offer, and has a higher height range of 565mm to 765mm, generally suited to older students than the standard model's range.
Why would a classroom choose castors over glides on this table?
Castors suit classrooms that reposition paired desks regularly for group work or layout changes, while glides suit a more stable, semi permanent position where mobility matters less than a firm footing.
Is the higher height range suitable for younger students too?
It is better suited to older student cohorts given the starting height of 565mm. For younger students, the standard Studiwell Double Table's lower range would generally be the more appropriate fit.
